The NSLDI Spirit Award will be given to the delegation with the highest overall score based on the following criteria.

School Representation

Up to 10 points per delegation

• Exchange your clothes pins, buttons and/or anything your creativity creates to swap with others members from different schools during the conference:

  • Conference theme

  • School spirit

  • Creativity

 

Costumes 

Up to 10 points per delegation

• Costumes will be judged during opening. They will be looking for a visible shirt/costume that represents:

  • Conference theme

  • School spirit

  • Creativity

Banner

Up to 10 points per delegation

• A  banner is a one that represents your institution and delegation.

  • The banner can be physical (butcher paper) or digital (via Canva, Google Slides, etc..)

  • We will be announcing your delegation with this banner. First impressions are key here. We are looking for a clear representation:

    • Institution/delegation names & mascot

    • Conference spirit/theme

    • Aesthetic

Roll Call Video

• Up to 10 points per delegation

• A roll call video shows off your delegation (student leaders and advisors) attending the conference. We are looking for a clear representation:

  • Institution representation

  • Conference theme

  • Creativity

    • Roll call video must not be more than 2 minutes long.​

    • Video: must be summited via YouTube link (can be public or private)

  • Examples of Past Roll Call Videos

  • All roll call videos are due by TBA

​Philanthropy

Up to 10 points per delegation

• Spirit points will be given to the delegation based on individual participation

 

​Social Media Challenges

• It will be held on Instagram @NSLDI2024 / Facebook WACUHONSLDI

• You must tag us @NSLDI2024 #NSLDINov2 #WACUHO on your story

  • We will confirm we received your submission by adding your story to ours.

• All challenges will have a designated set of points and will be added to your spirit points. 

  • You can gain 10 points max per Instagram challenge - 1 point per member in delegation/institution

• The photo challenge will be from TBA

  • TBA: Marvel vs DC Day

    • Are you Marvel or DC fan, show off your favorites.​

  • TBA: Create Your Own Superhero

    • Whether it's a superhero you created when you were a kid or a superhero you exabit your own powers. ​

  • TBA: Sidekick Day

    • ​Showcase your dynamic duo, a co-worker, another delegation member or your own sidekick.​

    • ​Be creative on your super villain.​
