Present a Program
Call for Programs!
Presenting at the Northern Student Leadership Drive-In (NSLDI) is both a privilege and a professional development opportunity to demonstrate the practical application of your experiences with residential student success. Professionals and student leaders can use this opportunity to establish dialogue and/or share best practices surrounding current issues and trends in higher education.

DEADLINE: Proposals are due by 11:59pm on January 10th, 2025

NOTIFICATIONS: The Program Committee will notify everyone of proposal status no later than January 22nd, 2025.
Please Consider the Following
• What is the rationale behind doing this program?
• How will the program be of interest to NSLDI participants?
• What is the program agenda? (time and flow)
• How does this program relate to the conference theme?
• Is your program appropriate for the allotted time? (presentations are 30 minutes)
• Consider what will appeal to the participants of NSLDI when writing your title and abstract for the program. • • What will catch people’s attention? How will your program stand out from the rest?
Program Criteria
Meet one or more of the following learning outcomes:
• Students will be able to discuss programming ideas with students from other institutions.
• Students will be able to gain resources to create creative and educational programs.
• Students will have the opportunity to promote and showcase their institution and department.
• Students will be able to create and develop connection/friendship with other participants from other institutions.
• Clarity of purpose/rationale of the presentation
• Potential interest to a diverse group of staff
• Presented information is as up to date as possible and coincides with current needs and trends in Higher Education today
• Opportunity for audience participation
• Connection with conference theme
• Applies to needs faced by students, student leaders, and/or staff
• Proper citing of sources for programs which were not created by the presenter

This year we will continue to highlight the opportunity to offer a Professional Staff Sessions of programming offerings during the day, running concurrently with other programs.
