Electronic Banner!

  • Please have your student representatives create and submit an electronic banner. The purpose of this video is to introduce your institution and your student representatives. When making the banner, please follow these guidelines.

    • Banner must be submitted in a JPEG formatt

    • Banner must be 8.5 in x 11 in in dimension

    • It is the advisor’s responsibility to view and approve the video before it is submitted and presented at the drive-in!

  • Completed banners should be emailed southerndrivein@wacuho.org no later than Wednesday, October 30th.

  • Banners will be judged on relevance to the theme, creativity, and display institution and delegates

  • Points:

    • Please download the Spirit Guide Rubric for further information regarding points

Name Tags

  • Delegations are asked to create their own name tags to best highlight their group and their personal costumes. All name tags should clearly state the delegates name and institution they are from.

  • Name tags will be judged on relevance to the theme, reflection of institution, and aesthetics

  • Points:

Costume

  • Delegations are asked to create their own attire for the day of the event that best highlights their institution energy and voice as student leaders.

  • Costumes will be judged on relevance to theme, creative, and school spirit

  • Points:

Trade Items

  • Delegations are asked to create a unique trade item for the event that they can trade with other delegations through out the day

  • The trade items are meant to promote opportunities for interaction between delegate. However, trade items will not be rated as part of the spirit competition

 

Philanthropy

  • Points will be calculated based on how many items are collected compared to how many delegation members attending the conference

  • A list of items to collect will be available soon

 

Social Media

  • As we approach the conference date there will be weekly social media challenges where delegations are ask to post several members at various locations on their home campus completing task.

  • The week before the conference there will be daily photo challenges that delegates are asked to participate in.

  • All posts must be made via instagram with the conference hash tag to count
